From September 4-8 2023, a business mission to Latvia took place in Riga for 22 representatives of the furniture and food sector within the framework of the project “Support for Ukraine’s integration into the EU single market using Latvia as an “entry point,”” which was implemented by the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LTRK) together with the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the financial support of the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.The visit included:
- visiting Latvian companies and enterprises;
- B2B-communication with potential partners;
- getting acquainted with profile clusters;
- meetings with project partners, in particular, the US Embassy, the Ukrainian Embassy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and non-governmental organizations.
The highlight of the entire mission was a visit and participation in the opening of a special Ukrainian stand at the Riga Food 2023 exhibition.CCI of Ukraine, Chernihiv CCI and more than 40 Ukrainian companies took part in the event.“The opening of the national stand of Ukraine is an invitation to direct cooperation with Ukrainian producers.
