From May 28th to 29th, the much-anticipated event for Ukraine’s agro-industry took place – Agro Ukraine Summit 2024! It was during this event that the “AgroProcessing” discussion panel occurred, where owners of processing enterprises discussed a number of urgent issues facing the industry.
One of the key topics of discussion was the economy as a stabilizing factor for the country’s defense. Participants mentioned the necessity of mobilization and the establishment of clear rules for businesses, which is crucial for ensuring the stability of economic development.
Another important topic was energy supply. The problems of continuous operation from generators at production facilities proved to be significant. Participants expressed the need for creating financial support tools to provide enterprises with independent sources of energy, such as gas-piston stations.
Another significant aspect of the discussion was ensuring the supply of raw materials to processing enterprises in the upcoming marketing year. Participants emphasized the need for a stable flow of raw materials for uninterrupted production.
Representatives of companies such as the All-Ukrainian Association of Bakers (VAP), Rodion Ribchinskiy, Chanta, TERRA, TAS AGRO, as well as Alexander Yasinskiy and Anton Zhemerdeyev, participated in the discussion panel. They made a substantial contribution to the discussion and found constructive ways to address the urgent problems of the industry.
